Happy Christmas everyone!
It’s almost here, and I hope you’re managing to carve out meaningful moments of celebration and peace amongst the busyness of shopping, wrapping, tidying plus the usual work and family responsibilities.
I have a gift for you - I’ve removed paid subscriptions from this Substack! After trying it out for a few weeks I realised that it wasn’t really working for me, so all of my posts - archive and current - are now free to read.
I believe in the value of writing and other kinds of creativity for many reasons - including financial - and this is why I’m easing back from the pressure of providing weekly paid content here, so that I can focus on other projects which do provide me with a regular and valued income and will need more of my attention during 2025. Gathering subscriptions of any kind on Substack is fun and rewarding, and an interesting challenge, but it’s not paying many (any) bills! So …
